Privacy Policy
No accounts. No analytics. No ads. No network requests at all — Prompt Park works in airplane mode. Everything your child does stays on their device.

Prompt Park is made by Josh Andrews (Playground). This policy covers the Prompt Park iPhone and iPad app. We wrote it to be read, not survived — it is short because the app does very little that needs explaining.
That is genuinely the whole section. But "we don't collect data" gets said a lot by apps that do, so here is what it means concretely:
Our App Store privacy label reads "Data Not Collected". That is a literal description, not a favourable reading.
Prompt Park saves a little information locally so your child doesn't lose their place. It never leaves the device and we cannot read it:
Prompts your child types are used to build the on-screen scene. They are not saved to a history or a log.
You can erase all of it whenever you like: Settings → Start over inside the app clears every chapter, sticker and badge, and deleting the app removes everything too. Purchases survive both, because they live with your Apple ID — they can always be restored free of charge.
On the device. Pip ships inside the app: it reads the words your child types, works out what they mean, and builds the scene right there on the iPhone or iPad.
Nothing your child types is ever sent anywhere — there is no server to send it to. That also means Pip behaves identically offline, and the same prompt always produces the same build, which is what lets kids test an idea and learn from the result.
There is no chat and no messaging inside Prompt Park, so there is no way for a child to have a conversation with anything, or anyone, outside the app.
Prompt Park is designed for children aged 7–12 and is submitted to Apple's Kids Category.
The Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) governs the online collection of personal information from children under 13. Prompt Park collects no personal information from children under 13, or from anyone else — so there is nothing for us to disclose, share, sell or delete on request, and no parental consent for us to obtain, because there is no collection to consent to.
Anything that costs money or leaves the app sits behind a gate built for an adult: press and hold a button for three full seconds, then answer a two-digit multiplication question. It protects purchases, Restore Purchases, the grown-ups page, and every outbound link.
Behind that gate, the grown-ups page can open this privacy policy, our terms, Apple's
terms, and a mailto: link to our support address. Those destinations are
outside the app and have their own privacy practices.
Email hello@promptpark.app and we will investigate and reply. We expect that to be a short conversation, because there is no mechanism by which it could happen.
Prompt Park offers three optional one-time purchases: the Prompt Park Pass and two sticker packs. Chapters 1 and 2 and the Free Build sandbox are free forever.
Apple handles the entire transaction. Payment is processed by Apple through your Apple ID using the App Store's in-app purchase system. We never receive, see or store your name, email address, billing address or payment details.
What the app learns from Apple is limited to whether the signed-in Apple ID owns a given product. That answer is stored on the device so the content stays unlocked.
Apple's handling of your purchase data is covered by the Apple Privacy Policy and the Apple Media Services Terms. Apple also gives developers anonymised, aggregated statistics in App Store Connect — things like "12 units sold in Canada last week". Those figures come from Apple, identify no one, and cannot be connected by us to any individual or device.
If you write to hello@promptpark.app, we will have your email address and whatever you put in the message, because that is how email works. We use it to answer you and nothing else — no mailing list, no sharing. Please don't include personal details about your child; we don't need them to help.
If we ever change how Prompt Park handles data, we will update this page and change the effective date at the top. If a future version were to collect anything at all — which is not planned — we would say so clearly here and in the App Store privacy label before that version shipped. We would never apply a new policy retroactively to information collected under an old one, though as of today there is none.
